Job Description Senior HR Advisor with Stork:

We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor ready to take the next step to join our team on a full time permanent basis. This role will be based in our Humber Bank office and work part of the wider HR team reporting into the HR Manager based in Aberdeen.

The Senior HR Advisor plays a vital role in supporting the HR function within a dynamic and fast changing environment. They will have responsibility for managing all HR activities within their area of the business. This individual will work alongside employees, Managers and Senior Leaders providing a consistent and professional HR service ensuring an efficient, timely, accurate and cost effective delivery of HR activities.

What will you be doing?

 

This role will be responsible for supporting  a large and diverse group and as a result the tasks will be varied and evolving, however some key deliverables will be:

 

  • Partner with the assigned Managers and Leaders to analyse and support in business challenges including complex employee relations matters and change management processes such as TUPE, performance management and absence management
  • Support in the delivery of the People Strategy including organisation wide activities such as retention, performance and development reviews, succession planning, employee engagement and organisational design.
  • Provide HR guidance and support  throughout the employee lifecycle ensuring compliance with all Stork processes and policies
  • Supporting in organisation wide activities such as performance and development reviews, employee engagement
  • Define recruitment strategies and work in partnership with Managers
  • Coaching and developing Managers
  • Support in the implementation or HR strategies including succession planning, employee engagement and organisational design
  • Support the HR Manager with ad hoc projects
  • Mentoring other member of the HR Advisory team

Expected:

 

  • Degree or CIPD qualified in HR related qualification
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role within a busy and dynamic environment – someone who is ready for the next step up
  • Previous experience in supporting in complex employee relations matters and change management across a varied service offering
  • Working knowledge of people practises and UK law
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organisation across multiple UK locations
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel to different Onshore/Offshore Sites
