Job Description Mechanical Yard Operative with Stork:

 

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards. Responsible for assisting with the management and co-ordination of Base Facility stores

 

Tasks and Responsibilities as Mechanical Yard Operative:

 

Goods in/ Goods Out/Equipment Returns

 

  • Assist with the emptying of returned containers of equipment and materials.
  • Assist with off hiring and third party returns.
  • Assist in ensuring that returned equipment has appropriate certification attached.
  • Assist in information retrieval from Returns email address.
  • Assist in ensuring that any returned Dangerous Goods / Chemicals are dealt with according to the procedure.
  • Assist in the generation of equipment checklists and GRN’s.
  • Input into and maintenance of stock control systems.
  • Assist in materials receipt and dispatch.

Education & Experience

 

Education

 

Essential

 

  • Standard Grades (or equivalent), commensurate experience with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

 

Desirable

 

  • PUWER & LOLER ▪ COSHH & Manual Handling

 

Experience and Skills

 

Essential

 

  • Experience in a similar role

 

Desirable

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Hours: 40 hours

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm
Contract: Permanent
