Mechanical Technician (On-Site)

Job Description Mechanical Technician with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards. Responsible for Bolting & Tensioning equipment maintenance in accordance with procedures

Tasks and Responsibilities as Mechanical Technician:

Servicing. Maintenance & Testing

• General Bolting & Tensioning equipment maintenance, in accordance with procedures and manufacturers guidelines.
• Function checking of all equipment.
• Assist with PUWER & LOLER compliance and ensuring that all is in accordance to applicable legislation
• Assist with the visual inspection of all equipment and ancillary equipment (both company owned and 3rd party) prior to mobilisation.

Specific Requirements for the Mechanical Technician:

Education & Experience

Education

Essential

• Standard Grades (or equivalent), commensurate experience with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

Desirable

• Forklift Experience

Experience and Skills 

Essential

• Experience in a similar role

Desirable

• Previous experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Hours: 40 hours

Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm
Contract: Permanent
